You can request items which are not available on the shelf at your library. For example, if every copy is on loan, or it is only held at a different campus.
You cannot request items available on the shelf at your campus, multiple copies of the same title or titles which you already have on loan.

If the book is showing as on the shelf but it is not, then you need to inform a member of staff who can report the book as missing and enable you to request a copy that is out on loan or on another site.
