Students on NHS Courses

If you are on a NHS commissioned course (e.g. Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine, Paramedics, ODP) you will be able to obtain a NHS OpenAthens account.  Details will be sent to you via your student email account.

Students on non-NHS Courses

The University no longer requires an Athens ID to access online library resources, if you wish to access online resources you can do this by logging in to the University Library web site.

You need to log in using the University username (e.g. ab1 or abc101) and password that you also use to access email, MyARU, and E-Vision. You can access all online resources by performing a search from this website.

There is a Search guide, which you may find useful.

If you are accessing 'off-campus', that is on a computer that is not one of the University's computers, you can find detailed 'off-campus' access information in the Search guide.
