The required elements for referencing from Google Maps is:
Map publisher (origin), Year of publication. Created map title, Scale. Source [online] Available through Library website <http://library.aru.ac.uk> [Accessed date].
Google Maps, 2017. Anglia Ruskin University: Chelmsford Campus, 1:1.500. Google Maps [online] Available through: Anglia Ruskin University Library <http://library.aru.ac.uk> [Accessed 31 August 2017].
For more information please go to our Harvard referencing guide under the section 'Images': Within the subsection called Maps - Print maps, Digimaps and Google Earth, we give you some examples of how to reference various kinds of maps in a reference list or bibliography.
You can see the second example, labeled Digimaps, is the same style as referencing a Google map. We would always advise double checking with the tutor who will be marking the assignment to make sure your referencing is done to their specifications.
