The SCONUL access scheme is a reciprocal scheme which allows many university library users to borrow or use books and journals at other libraries which belong to the scheme.

Students or staff wishing to apply for SCONUL access need to apply first to their home institution for the Sconul Band A, B, C or R Access email via the SCONUL website (link below).

Once you have an approval email, you need to contact the university library that you wish to request membership to their library.

Please note not all universities are currently providing SCONUL access membership so check the SCONUL Access website to see if the university you want to visit is currently accepting membership requests.
