Refworks opens lots of windows when I import references – what do I do?
Each time I import references, a new RefWorks window opens and I'm not sure which one to use.
Answer
RefWorks will open a new window each time you import references from an external source. This can become confusing if you import several times in one session.
To avoid confusion, check that the references have imported properly in the new window by clicking on the View Last Imported Folder button. Close this window if you are happy with the import and refresh your original RefWorks browser window. Your original window will then display your last imported items.
