What is a Referencing System?

Answer

A reference system is a system used to note information about resources used to construct an academic work. They also show work done to support academic studies as well as provide pointers to other academic works that might be of relevance for future research.

The University supports three different referencing systems.

OSCOLA is used by the Anglia Law School to reference legal materials.

APA System is used by the Psychology Department for referencing purposes.

All other Faculties and Schools at Anglia Ruskin use the Cite Them Right Harvard referencing style.

Should you have any issues with referencing your chosen system, after checking the guidance given in the above links, get in contact with the University Library Help.
