We are automatically extending loan dates so books will continue to renew for the time being so you do not need to return your books yet.

You can return the books to your local site:

Cambridge - Enter at the main university Helmore entrance on East Road, you may have to use the security intercom to ask to enter the building to return library books if when you tap your card the door does not open. The library book drop is on the left near the University reception desk.

Chelmsford - You can return the books via the library return bin located on the exterior of the library behind the Queens Building.

Peterborough - You can return the books via the Guild House letterbox at the front entrance.

Please note books may not be cleared from your account until the site opens again for either method of return.

  1. Hi, I would like to know if the international students borrowed the books but will leave Cambridge this summer after graduation, what should they do? Many thanks!

  2. If you are leaving the country, you can post the books back to us or if you are in halls of residence on site, there are book return bins near the libraries.
