Q. How do I transfer (copy) my references from my old (Legacy) RefWorks account to my New RefWorks account?


There are two ways to copy references from your Legacy RefWorks account to your New RefWorks account.

1. You can copy your whole Legacy database to your New RefWorks account – this keeps all your references in the folders you have set up in Legacy and adds them to your New RefWorks account. It should copy across file attachments too.

2. You can copy individual folders to New RefWorks – this is useful is you don’t want to copy across all your Legacy references. File attachments will not be copied across.
